Is this a real Dayton brand wheel?
No. These are not official Dayton-branded wheels. They are Dayton-style custom wire wheels made with forged alloy and finished in triple-plated gold, designed to replicate the iconic look while offering modern quality and performance.
What vehicle types are these wheels compatible with?
This 26″ staggered Donk setup is ideal for full-size American classics and custom builds such as Chevy Impala, Caprice, Monte Carlo, Buick Lesabre, Cadillac Fleetwood, and other donk-style cars with room for large wheels. Rear fender trimming or lift kits may be required for certain vehicles.
What is included in this package?
You will receive a complete set of 4 wheels and tires, including:
These wheels are high-quality forged aluminum, offering superior strength, durability, and finish quality compared to traditional cast wheels. Forged wheels also offer reduced weight and better handling on large wheel setups.
What is the recommended speed limit for this setup?
Due to the nature of spoke-style wheels, we recommend a maximum speed of 50–70 mph. While they can handle higher speeds, ride comfort and safety may be compromised at highway speeds, especially on custom builds.
Are the whitewalls real or painted?
These are real whitewall tires with genuine white and gold rubber – not painted or glued. The stripe is vulcanized into the sidewall using our custom process for durability and show-quality aesthetics.
Can I drive in winter or rain with these wheels?
The tires are all-season rated, but the wheels are triple-plated gold wire rims intended for dry, fair weather. We do not recommend exposing them to salt, snow, or harsh chemicals. For winter use, we suggest a secondary wheel setup.
Can I customize the stripe or tire brand?
Yes! We can custom make the tire with red, blue, or yellow stripes upon request. We also offer alternate tire brands such as Continental or Lexani depending on your build and budget.
What tools do I need for installation?
You’ll need basic socket tools for the adapters and a rubber mallet to tighten the knock-offs. Do not use a metal hammer. Red adapters go on passenger side, white on driver side, for proper thread direction.
How do I maintain these wheels and tires?
Use a microfiber cloth and non-acidic wheel cleaner for the gold finish. For whitewalls, mild soap or whitewall cleaner is recommended. Avoid harsh chemicals. For stubborn stains, acetone can be used sparingly.
